Thank you junkyards...I have a gmk2 golf 4dr and am in the middle of building am sick daily driver dub. It all started with the knee bar...yes the POS knee bar below the dash in my golf. It served no purpose!!! I mean WTF??? SO i hit the yard and found some alternatives....with the help of a 88 GTI golf I found the cubby that bolts right up under my dash. Holds my stuff...gobbs more space....4 ...

I recently had an Athena BB kit and Hot Cams installed on my 06 SM. The bike already had FCR 39mm carb, 3x3, JD kit and full Yosh RS3. The Athena kit was installed with the S/SM base gasket. Obviously the bike is much improved over the stock bore/cams, but now I'm wondering if I should have gone with the E base gasket? Will the E base gasket make much difference? Or should I say...

O.K. so I'm taking it appart this weeek end. I was looking for carb cleaner at crappy tire and some hose barbs to switch my gas lines and to plug my vacuum line when I sync it but left empty handed Carb cleaner does it come in bigger bottles then the small ones at CT ? What else would you think I need ? Not having done a teardown this size I just want to make sure I can get ...

Dave If I'm not mistaken the green viton is the prefered seal and I'm guessing this the inferior OEM version. Never having seen an unmolested new seal I'm not postive as to the construction but it appears that it may have been a square profiled black O'ring which is vulcanized to one side of a thin copper (i.e. 0.3mm thick) ring about 3.5mm wide. Then again it maybe a totally incorrect ...
