Hi, I've just moved to a new town this year and have found a hairdresser who I'm fairly happy with. However, I'm a little confused and am hoping that my suspicions are wrong. I only ever get semi permanents with my colour. I was of the understanding that there's less chemicals in these and they will wash out after a while, however if you go every 4-6 weeks, the colour will build up. So,...

I've been free of cones, blowdryer, & brush for months now. I'm not planning on going to the hairdressers any time soon. But, my questions is...... When I go to the hairdressers she will use all that stuff. Do you let them, or just ask for a trim and walk out with your hair wet?
