Ford is certainly focused on profit and holding the line on price!  Ford's offerings are certainly much more desirable of late and the prices of the products show this.  Anyone who's been to a dealership recently can attest. Ford is willing to be smaller if it means being profitable.  Prices are certainly higher for Ford cars and trucks than a few years back.  ...

Yes they can.  Hubby went to the Ford dealership to get my key faub thingy fixed and came back with a 07 Mustang GT with all the upgrades and many mods.   It's shiny red - not my normal choice but I love it.  It's also a 5 speed that kicks some serious butt. If you want to use a dealer to service your BMW, buy a new one and you'll get free maintenance for the warranty period. If you buy a used BMW that's out of warranty DON'T take it to a dealership for service. In the DC area there are myriad independent BMW shops, mostly populated by techs who escaped from dealerships, and many really know their stuff. But they're still expensive, even if they ...

Re: Mid size Suv suggestions. I bought an 06 Ford Escape for my wife from Hertz. The same model was $28,000 asking price at the dealership. Hertz sold it to me for $17,700. Both had v6, leather, AWD, 6 disc CD, auto, air. The Hertz had around 24,000 miles & was (gasp) 10 months old. It is now four years old & has about 80,000...

When you write or call Ford Customer Assistance, they document your concern/question and forward it to the dealership for handling. Sounds like they did exactly that. Ford sells the vehicle to the dealership and the dealer sells it to the retail customer. Ford won't/should not get in the middle of the dealers interaction with their retail customer. It would have been better if the ...

This is the Ford Owners site one can use to look up the service history of a vehicle-that was performed at a dealership. See if you can input your vehicle's VIN at this site to obtain whatever service history exists. Then have the repairing Ford dealership print out a service history on this vehicle. Make sure the September 2007 hybrid battery harness recall work was performed. ...
