Ford is certainly focused on profit and holding the line on price!  Ford's offerings are certainly much more desirable of late and the prices of the products show this.  Anyone who's been to a dealership recently can attest. Yes they can.  Hubby went to the Ford dealership to get my key faub thingy fixed and came back with a 07 Mustang GT with all the upgrades and many mods.   It's shiny red - not my normal choice but I love it.  It's also a 5 speed that kicks some serious butt. If you want to use a dealer to service your BMW, buy a new one and you'll get free maintenance for the warranty period. When you write or call Ford Customer Assistance, they document your concern/question and forward it to the dealership for handling. Sounds like they did exactly that.
