Circle BMW on Rt. 36 in Eatontown, NJ More specifically, Tim M. who is one of the service advisors and "M" Series & Performance Specialist. I don't know if all dealerships have a "M" Specialist, but this guy is extremely knowledgeable about anything M related and quite the enthusiast himself - he has a highly modified E36 M3, just recently picked up an E30 M3, and is on the lookout for a ...

I can't stand attention whores on bikes or whatever mode of transport they choose. My neighbor across teh street owns a Harley dealership. They finally quit having their friends over, all who seemed to need to rev the sh!t out of their bikes 24/7. My roomies sons ride dirt bikes. One of them has moved away. The other seems to think that the only way a bike works is with the clutch in ...

If you want to use a dealer to service your BMW, buy a new one and you'll get free maintenance for the warranty period. If you buy a used BMW that's out of warranty DON'T take it to a dealership for service. In the DC area there are myriad independent BMW shops, mostly populated by techs who escaped from dealerships, and many really know their stuff. But they're still expensive, even if they ...

andyjsi wrote: Hi, I'm picking my 118d SE tomorrow (first BMW) and the dealership I'm getting it from don't know much about the spec that the car has (Carshop Northampton). Looking at the basic spec for an SE on the BMW site, it's clear that there are a number of extras on the car, but is there a way I can find out what extra's its got? It's got front parking sensors, so I'm assuming it's ...

This guy said in the original complaint that the car had two cracked rims among other problems. Obviously this car had not been restored to like new condition. I'm sure there must have been words and threats with the dealership about the repairs. There probably was buyer's remorse when he realized he had made a bad purchase. None of this matters. It boils down to customer satisfaction and the...
