It's been like that a long time. The nice neighborhoods are near the lake, obviously, but as you go farther and farther west, the income level declines pretty fast. The scariest parts though are when you cross a street where on one side are nice upper-middle class homes, and on the other is a ghetto. I'm not joking. Once you cross a street called division at certain parts, it does just this...
